Sparks fly for two Lakeview Park residents who tied the knot alongside friends, family, and fellow residents
When Nina decided her house required too much upkeep, she decided to call Lakeview Park in Fenton, Missouri, home. Nina knew she would have less housekeeping and no more yard work, but what she did not expect was meeting her beau, Phil. What started as friendship just weeks after Nina moved into the senior living community quickly bloomed into love. The two lovebirds were married Saturday, April 19, in the community’s chapel.
Lakeview Park came alive for the residents’ wedding. A local Catholic priest and Lakeview Park’s co-manager, pastor Mike Hill, both performed the ceremony. Nina’s son walked her down the aisle and her granddaughter was the maid of honor. Nina and Phil joined their two families with the lighting of a unity candle.
“This was one of the greatest things I have been a part of during my seven years at Lakeview Park,” said Linda Partney, community manager. “Everyone was very happy to get to share in this time with Phil and Nina.”
Congratulations to Phil and Nina! These two prove you are never too old to fall in love.
